Having worked in motion pictures since 2002, Angela Ortner has a wide variety of skills in all departments, now specializing in cinematography. Starting out as a production assistant for the short film Passing Interest, Angela has tried a bit of everything: script supervisor, grip, best boy, camera assistant, assistant director, producer, director, editor, and DP. In 2010, she directed her third short film - The Accident - which she also wrote, produced, and edited.
Angela received her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of California, Davis, minoring in Film Studies, and has continued to develop her skills as a filmmaker by taking additional courses through City College of San Francisco.
Her primary goal is to create films that excite, inspire, and entertain - to put something new and different into the world while enjoying every step of the process.
